Jeffrey Tweedy is President and CEO of Sean John, the award-winning clothing and lifestyle brand founded by Sean “Diddy” Combs. Jeff is one of the most recognized and highly regarded leaders in the fashion industry and celebrated for his sharp insight, strong creative vision, and an acute ability to predict shifting trends in the industry. As President and CEO of Sean John, Jeff has earned a reputation for introducing unique innovations into men’s apparel and has built an impressive marketing and sales track record, including a large footprint across international markets.

Jeff has led Sean Jean since it launched in the fall of 1998, surrounded by a team of talented designers and the best marketing, sales, and licensing teams in the business. Jeff was integral in bringing Sean John to Mercedes Benz Fashion week for the first time. He led Sean John to be the first brand to host a fashion show on Instagram, and have it simulcast live on the Style Network and E! Under Jeff’s leadership, Sean John has signed licensing deals and partnerships with the NBA, NFL, Li & Fung, Zac Posen and more. Today, Sean John is an international megabrand and a staple of American fashion and lifestyle with over 18 product categories.

Multiple fashion industry publications have recognized Jeff’s contribution to the style landscape, including: Women’s Wear Daily (WWD) placed Jeff in the Power 100 and MR named him one of The Most Fascinating Men in Fashion.

Jeff began his career as a stock boy at Britches of Georgetown in Washington D.C. and after a short time realized fashion was his calling. A chance meeting with Jeffrey Banks and Ralph Lauren placed Jeff on the fast track to a career in fashion. It was on Mr. Lauren’s recommendation that Jeff move to New York City where he attended the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) to study menswear design and marketing. In the early nineties, Jeff joined Threadz for Life, (which later became Karl Kani), where he helped to increase sales by over 200% in under two years. Jeff has worked for Willie Wear, Ralph Lauren and Hugo Boss.

Jeff strongly believes in giving back to his community, and supports a select group of philanthropic organizations including The Boy Scouts of America, The Father’s Day Council, and the Black Retail Action Group (BRAG). He is an advisor for Harlem Figure Skate, a member of the 5000 Role Models Excellence Project, a mentoring and education program founded by Congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson of Florida, and an active advisor and mentor to Year Up New York.

Jeff lives in New Jersey with his family. A proud father to Basil Curtis Tweedy and Miles Oneal Tweedy, Jeff calls his kids his “inspiration and reason for being,” and always keeps them in mind when crafting his legacy.
